Initially, their symptoms were attributed by medical professionals to conditions like arthritis, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and herniated discs, as well as anxiety. However, the contributor later self-diagnosed with Tension Myoneural Syndrome (TMS)/Neuroplastic symptoms, discovering that the structural findings were incidental and not the root cause of their pain.
