Types & Variants
Sensorineural Hearing Loss

Occurs when sound cannot get through the outer and middle ear. It may be temporary or permanent and can be caused by fluid, earwax, or an object blocking the ear canal.
Mixed Hearing Loss
A combination of both sensorineural and conductive hearing loss, involving problems in both the inner and outer/middle ear.
